Between the Quadrilatero della Moda and the historic workshops of the Navigli district, Milanese design and Italy’s jewelry-making tradition have been intertwined for generations. Here, packaging becomes far more than a simple container.
To Be Packing experiences this connection every day. At our Milan showroom, projects take shape and materials can be seen and touched firsthand. Production, meanwhile, takes place in Comun Nuovo, in the province of Bergamo, where since 1999 skilled craftsmanship and advanced technologies have transformed wood, leather and fabric into cases and displays that are entirely Made in Italy.
We create window displays for jewelers and develop bespoke projects for the fashion, cosmetics, fine food and design industries. For Gucci, we created a double cotton velvet pouch designed to hold a set of fragrances and creams. Our portfolio also includes Giorgio Armani, Lamborghini and Barovier & Toso, alongside historic jewellers in Italy and abroad.

Jewelry boxes
Jewelry boxes lie at the heart of our collection: exceptional cases designed to stand the test of time while enhancing every creation they hold.
Handcrafted using finely textured leathers, premium woods and soft suede or velvet interiors, they feature sophisticated opening systems and elegant geometric shapes.
Each model combines refined design, tactile appeal and meticulous attention to detail, creating a memorable unboxing experience that can be fully customised to reflect the needs and identity of each brand.
Custom shopping bags
The purchasing experience continues beyond the boutique. Our custom shopping bags carry the brand through the streets of the city and are available in regular, round, trapezoid and bucket shapes. Heavyweight papers and soft touch finishes provide the perfect surface for logos, which can be applied using hot foil stamping or embossing.
7TO7 bag
Made from poly jersey, a soft, washable technical fabric, the 7TO7 bag transforms packaging into an accessory designed to be used again.
It can be customised with logos and monograms, extending the unboxing experience well beyond the moment of purchase.

Materials and finishes: the language of touch
To Be Packing luxury packaging can be recognised with your eyes closed. Handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, our packaging is available in a wide selection of high-quality materials. Hand-covered wood provides structure, textured leathers and suede add warmth, while Alcantara and velvet softly embrace the jewelry inside. For lighter packaging solutions, we apply the same craftsmanship to rigid board and premium paper-based constructions.
Custom finishes, created with the utmost artisanal care, give every piece its own distinctive signature. Hot foil stamping illuminates a logo with metallic reflections, while embossing gives it a tactile dimension. Inside, fabric printing can be used to create patterns, graphics and personalised messages, while our craftspeople produce bespoke cushions and inserts designed to hold each piece of jewellery precisely in place. Custom ribbons provide the finishing touch to the composition.
Colour selection is also guided by To Be Packing’s expertise. In the luxury sector, soft shades, pastels, ochre and purple tones sit alongside the timeless elegance of black. Every colour palette and customisation option is developed around the brand’s identity, ensuring that window displays, jewelry boxes and shopping bags all speak the same visual language.
Small production runs, extensive customization: the To Be Packing approach
To Be Packing is an ideal partner for niche brands and new boutique openings, as well as limited editions and special projects. The presentation box created to celebrate the bicentenary of Vecchia Romagna, for example, shows how an idea can be transformed into a true collector’s piece.
Every project is supported by a dedicated consultancy service. A team of graphic designers, designers and technical specialists works alongside the client’s dedicated sales contact, following the project from the initial concept through to final delivery. For bespoke solutions, renders and 3D visualisations are developed so that clients can see the result before it physically exists. The next step is the prototype: a tangible sample that can be touched, evaluated and refined before production begins.
Production takes place in Italy and is directly supervised at every stage, ensuring artisanal quality and efficient lead times. Jewellery boxes developed together with our team can reach the store within just a few weeks.
